Civil Works in Lebanon — Structural Concrete, Foundations & Masonry
Every building stands on its civil works — foundations, structure, and concrete frame. These are the decisions that can't be undone. We execute structural civil work under licensed civil engineer supervision. Call 70000189.
Structural civil works are the most permanent decisions on a construction project. A foundation system, a concrete frame, a retaining structure — once cast and loaded, these elements define the building's behavior for its entire service life. Deficiencies in concrete mix, rebar placement, formwork, or curing don't announce themselves immediately. They manifest as cracking, differential settlement, or structural distress years later, often in occupied buildings. MAGMA's civil works are executed from structural engineering drawings under the direct supervision of licensed civil engineers, with hold points and inspections at every structural pour.
When You Need Civil Works
Civil works are required on any project involving excavation and foundations, concrete frame construction, structural slabs and beams, masonry walls, retaining structures, or structural remediation of existing elements. New builds require civil works from the earliest project phase. Renovation and reconstruction projects often require structural assessment and targeted civil remediation — particularly relevant in Lebanon's post-2020 context where buildings sustained blast-related structural damage that hasn't been formally assessed or repaired.
If you have a structural concern — cracking, settlement, visible deformation, or a renovation that requires structural modification — the starting point is a proper assessment, not cosmetic remediation over an unresolved structural issue.
Our Civil Works Process
We mobilize from approved structural engineering drawings. Excavation is monitored against design levels and ground conditions are confirmed before foundation concrete is placed. Rebar installation is inspected against the structural drawings before any concrete pour — nothing is cast without a sign-off.
Concrete mix specifications are enforced at delivery and cube samples are taken for every pour. Formwork is inspected for adequate support and correct geometry before placement. Curing protocols are followed to specification. As-built documentation is maintained throughout the structural programme.
Civil Works Cost in Lebanon
Civil works costs depend on the structural system, the foundation type, the scope of concrete volumes, the reinforcement schedule, and the site access conditions. A reinforced concrete frame for a multi-storey commercial building has very different cost drivers than a ground-floor slab, a basement retention system, or targeted structural remediation on an existing building.
We provide a detailed civil works cost breakdown from structural drawings. All pricing is against the engineer's specification — no substitutions on materials without written approval.
Why Choose Us
MAGMA's civil works are executed under licensed civil engineer supervision with formal hold points before every structural pour. Because our engineering team operates alongside our construction teams, the inspection process is integrated into the programme — not treated as an external overhead. We work across Lebanon on new builds, renovation projects, and post-damage structural remediation. Call 70000189 to discuss your civil works scope.
