BXT Boutique Gym is a high-end boutique fitness facility delivered by MAGMA as a full fit-out and execution project within an existing residential building. MAGMA managed all required municipal permits and regulatory documentation to complete the legal conversion of the space from residential to commercial use. The primary technical challenge was acoustic isolation given the facility's high-volume music programming within a residential building. MAGMA engineered and executed a complete acoustic box enclosure across all surfaces comprising anti-vibration hangers, Rockwool insulation layers, and multiple gypsum board layers, achieving up to 67 dB of sound attenuation with zero transmission to adjacent units. The Rockwool system additionally provides superior thermal insulation and full fire resistance classification.
