Project details & specs:
The project consists of 17 blocks containing 125 chalets, underground parking area, private and common gardens, with an approximate floor area of 25000 m2.
Plumbing System
Water Supply system:
Main and secondary water tanks located in basement, transfer pumps draw water from main tanks to feed secondary tanks located in basement of each block.
Water supply to chalets is provided via variable speed booster sets of total capacity of
37 L/S. Gardens are fed via an irrigation system drawing water from water tank relying partially on rain water collection.
HVAC
Heating system:
Heating is provided via individual boilers located in each chalet, each boiler provides heating and hot water storage to a storage tank located inside chalet. Boilers are equipped with a diverting valve allowing priority to hot water generation prior to heating; this procedure allows reduced LPG consumption and better boiler efficiency. Total heating load 3000 KW.
LPG Supply system:
LPG system is a fast growing building systems adopted since it is eco-friendly, the system consists of 13 tanks buried underground with a capacity of 5000L each, main black steel 1”LPG feeding line reaches gas rooms in basements, in each room gas
meters are installed to check LPG consumption by each chalet, from each gas meter
an individual pipe runs in basement ceiling for chalets LPG supply to boilers and kitchen ovens.
LPG system is executed according to French Norms DTU 61. System is protected by gas detectors controlling automatic isolating valves to cut LPG supply in case of leakage also mechanical shut off systems are installed, all those system controls and
protections renders the system safe and user friendly.
